We recently attended the Community College Association of Texas Trustees (CCATT) National Conference in Texas, held from September 14th to 16th.

It was an exciting opportunity for collaboration and knowledge sharing among Texas community colleges, and Element451 was right in the mix.

Courtney broke down the challenges TVCC's recruitment department was facing and how Element451 stepped in to provide the perfect solution:

Recruitment Challenges: First and foremost, the recruitment department was hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. This unexpected hurdle disrupted their regular operations and required a quick pivot to adapt to the new normal.

Lack of Strategy and Communication: The team struggled with a lack of clear strategy and effective communication. Without a well-defined roadmap, it was challenging to reach their enrollment goals efficiently.

No Proper Framework: Additionally, they lacked a proper framework to streamline their operations. This led to inefficiencies and difficulties in managing prospective students effectively.

Lack of Team Cohesion: Team cohesion was an issue, compounded by the use of temporary tools that simply weren't up to the task. These tools didn't foster collaboration and hindered their efforts.

Administrative Changes: To add to the mix, the department had to adapt to administrative changes, further complicating their workflow.

To tackle these problems effectively, TVCC had a clear set of evaluation criteria in mind:
