How has Element451 changed how you engage with your students?
Element451 has created a platform for us at UT Southern to track our communication. It puts our prospects, our inquiries, our name buys, and our applicants all in one spot. It gives us the ability to see from freshman, sophomore, junior, senior year of high school, and allows us to track that communication flow. Prior to Element we tried a number of different vendors and weren't able to actually have an overall holistic view of our communication so Element has really given us that opportunity.
What has your experience been like working with the Element451 team?
Awesome! That’s the one word to summarize that. Anytime we need help we’re an email or a phone call away. The live support option now has been a great resource for our students. We have student workers that are working in our system, as well as our staff, to be able to give an answer at any time. The biggest thing when you run into a roadblock is how do we get past that roadblock, and there’s never been a time through our opportunities with Element451 that that's been an issue so it's been really, really great working with the Element team.
What challenges were you trying to solve prior to using the Element451 platform?
As a smaller institution, it's really cultivating the relationships we value. We sell ourselves on the idea that an education is personal, so it’s an opportunity for students to know their admissions counselor, know the campus, and know the community. For us to be able to continue to build upon our communication flow by tracking our text messages or phone calls or email campaigns and be able to continue the conversation, not restart their conversation when the admissions counselor transitions. Or if we have a call in and they were not able to get directly connected to their admissions counselor, it allows us to have an individualized conversation based on what the student has already asked for, or where they are in the process. It’s really assisted our students with having a better overall communication experience with our staff.
