Element451, Inc. (“Element451,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This SMS Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with text messages (SMS/MMS) sent by Element451. It supplements our general privacy policy above. If the two conflict on a matter related to text messaging, this SMS Privacy Policy controls.
Information We Collect
We collect information you choose to give us, including:
- Your name and job title
- Your institution or organization
- Your work email address
- Your mobile phone number
- Your SMS consent, including the date, time, and source of your opt-in
We collect this information when you:
- Request a demo or contact us through element451.com
- Register for a webinar, conference, or Element451 event
- Sign up for newsletters, resources, or community programs
- Use the Element451 platform or contact our support team as a customer user
- Speak with our team and agree to receive follow-up text messages
How You Opt In
You opt in by entering your mobile number on one of our forms and checking an SMS consent box that is not pre-checked, or by texting a keyword such as START to our number. If you choose to use features of the Element451 platform that are available by SMS, MMS, or text message, you expressly agree that we may contact you by those means at the mobile number you provided. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or service. We will comply with all laws that apply before contacting you by text message.
Types of Messages
Element451 may send informational and promotional messages, such as:
- Demo, meeting, and appointment confirmations and reminders
- Webinar, conference, and event reminders and updates
- Customer support updates, including ticket status and service notices
- Account, onboarding, and product notifications for customer users
- Account security messages, such as one-time verification codes you request
- Promotional messages about Element451 products, resources, and events
Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us. Message and data rates may apply.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected through our SMS program to:
- Send the text messages you agreed to receive
- Confirm and remind you of meetings, demos, and events
- Provide customer support and service updates
- Send promotional messages, where you have consented
- Keep records of consent and opt-outs, as required by law
Sharing of Information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from any information sharing described in our general Privacy Policy, and will not be sold or shared with any third parties.
We share information only with service providers that help us deliver text messages, such as our messaging platform and telecommunications carriers. These providers may use the information only to deliver our messages and may not use it for their own purposes. We do not sell or rent your mobile number.
Opting Out and Getting Help
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation text, and then no further texts unless you opt in again by replying START.
Account security messages, such as one-time verification codes, are sent only when you request them, for example when you sign in with text message verification turned on. To stop these, change your sign-in verification method in your Element451 account settings.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Data Retention
We keep SMS information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, or as required by law. Records of consent and opt-out may be kept longer to show compliance. When no longer needed, information is securely deleted or anonymized.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information.
Your Privacy Rights
You may ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information by contacting us below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law.
