Fewer integration errors mean less manual work for Presidio Graduate School.

Presidio Graduate School is one of the leading sustainability institutions in the country. Providing unique degrees, experiential learning, job shadowing, and more, PGS helps students gain the skills they need to succeed in the fields of sustainability, diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Mission-focused and always prepared to assist students in their educational journey, the admissions and enrollment team at Presidio worked hard behind the scenes to ensure all of their recruitment and engagement processes ran smoothly.

One of the most crucial processes involved ensuring key data flowed seamlessly from their enrollment system into their student information system, Populi, in order to keep prospects engaged and moving through the admissions funnel.

“Our previous integration would tend to occasionally error. With the integration set up by the Element team, we have not yet encountered this error, which means we have not had to do any manual work," said Victor. "Our work has become more efficient with the work from Element's team.”

It’s no secret that manual work eats up a lot of precious time in an admissions office. Time spent fixing expensive machine error is time that can be used having meaningful conversations with students.

Unfortunately, the team’s previous enrollment system did not allow for a completely foolproof integration with Populi. Due to the instability from their old system’s integration, staff members would have to stop what they were doing and fix recurring issues manually.

That’s when the Presidio team looked to Element451 to provide the necessary upgrades and ensure a streamlined and efficient integration. The integration built by Element451 has prevented PGS from experiencing the same issues, which has resulted in less manual effort and more time for important projects and tasks.

Due to the requirements of the integration, it was clear that the Element451 team would need to build it from the ground up. The new design was similar in scope, but featured a few important upgrades and these new improvements proved to be significant.

Working together with key stakeholders like Victor, Element451’s team of customer support specialists and engineers were able to create a custom integration that enhanced productivity and reduced manual work.
